Swan Bell Tower - Perth, Western Australia - WA
A visit to Perth isn't complete without a look at the Swan Bell tower situated on the sparkling Swan River foreshore.
The Swan Bells include the twelve bells of St Martin in the Fields from the 14th century. They were recast in the 16th century by Queen Elizabeth I and again in the 1700s under the order of the Prince of Wales.
The Swan Bells are one of the few sets of royal bells in existence. They are the only bells known to have been removed from England.
This not-to-be-missed Perth attraction is rung at various times throughout the year to celebrate various historic events.
The Swan Bells are located at Barrack Square, Riverside Drive Perth. Ph (08) 9218 8183.
